The Fiery Passion Job Search is for you.

Why this approach?

Things like losing your job, working in a toxic environment, and/or not knowing how you're going to pay your bills have a neurochemical effect that undermines your executive functioning: i.e. your ability to make choices between the literally 50,000 job boards out there, and/or to navigate a long process like job searching.

The Fiery Passion Job Search approach is a trauma-informed, AI-assisted approach to job searching designed to minimize bandwidth/emotional labor, to help you get over mental barriers, to tap into things and people that excite you, and ultimately to help you land a great paying job you love.

We start with an assessment of seven areas:

1) Vision

2) Resume

3) LinkedIn

4) Mental Hurdles

5) Network

6) Interview skills

7) Negotiation skills

Based on this assessment, we’ll put together sessions and a work plan customized to what you need to land a new job you love. By the end of our initial work together, you will have:

- A clear vision and understanding of what you want

- A clear understanding of why you've had such a hard time job searching, plus a range of techniques to make it much, much easier.

- A resume and LinkedIn profile tailored to the job you're seeking, plus be able to quickly and easily tailor your materials to particular job postings.

- Active conversations with hiring managers and recruiters in your network (and mine)

- A clear workplan to find a new job you love.

Our Founder

About Bethany

Bethany Quinn is a career coach and an expert in trauma-informed design whose superpowers include curriculum development, networking, and strategy. She has an MBA from Johns Hopkins and is the founder of Quinntersectional (LLC and ZZP), a strategy and business development consulting firm; the creator of Quinntersectional Conversations, a pandemic web series interviewing entrepreneurs and other professionals about their career paths and how they got where they are; and the author of "Stop Decision Fatigue: Wild Success by Choosing Less."

Bethany created this bootcamp because she, too, hates job searching with a fiery passion. She struggled for years to find a new job when she was in a toxic work environment.

Many times, people asked her why she had so much trouble finding a job. Many times, she asked herself why she had so much trouble finding a job.

And then she met her advisor, Nikkie Achartz, an expert in trauma-informed business practices. And as Bethany worked with her own career coaching clients, who were triggered by just the thought of getting a job, she had an epiphany.

Bethany wasn't dumb. She wasn't incompetent. She wasn't lazy.

She was triggered.

And being triggered was undermining her executive functioning, including her ability to make choices between the (literally) 50,000 job boards out there and the 10 million job postings on the internet, and her ability to manage a long, complicated process like job searching.

So she interviewed experts, did extensive research, and worked with her clients to build and refine the curriculum you will learn in this bootcamp—a trauma-informed, AI-assisted strategy that leverages emerging technology to help overwhelmed job seekers get past their mental hurdles to find a new job they love.

Bethany is currently living her best life in Amsterdam with her partner in a fabulous apartment in the center of the city overlooking a canal. She loves karaoke, cooking, and her adorable niece and nephew.

Quinntersectional Conversations

In her attempt to not go stark raving mad during the pandemic, Bethany started a web series called Quinntersectional Conversations, where she would interview professionals and entrepreneurs about how they got into the work they’re doing while she was cooking. Her guests included a veterinary pathologist for the Smithsonian Zoo, venture capitalists, a special agent for the State Department, a woman on the shortlist to go to Mars, a mermaid, and many others.

Here are some of her favorite episodes. You can find all episodes of Quinntersectional Conversations on its Facebook page here.

1) Kali Holder: Veterinary Pathologist for the Smithsonian Zoo (the first super rough episode is here, and this is the episode where we mostly talk about cheese)

2) Sonia Van Meter: Opposition Research Firm Owner and on the Short-List to go to Mars
